Set it up once

Install
Move Aside to Applications on Mac, or run the installer on Windows. It lives in your menu bar or system tray.

Connect your calendar
Sign in with Google or Microsoft. Aside reminds you before each meeting and can join it for you.

Take your call
Use Zoom, Meet, Teams or any other app as usual. Your notes are ready when you hang up.
About the macOS permission prompt. To hear your calls, macOS asks you to allow Aside under Screen & System Audio Recording. That is the name macOS uses for any app that reads system audio. Aside transcribes the audio as it streams, never saves it and never captures your screen. How Aside handles your data

Do other people on the call need Aside?
No. Aside runs only on your computer, so guests install nothing and never see a bot.
Does it work for in-person meetings?
Yes. Start a note from the menu bar and Aside listens through your microphone.
How do I uninstall it?
On Mac, quit Aside and move it to the Trash. On Windows, remove it from Settings, then Apps. Deleting your account from the app removes your data.
