How does Aside take notes without joining the call?
Aside runs on your computer and hears the same audio you do. It transcribes as people talk and writes notes from the transcript, so no bot ever asks to be let in.
Do you record my meetings?
No. Audio is transcribed as it streams and is never saved. Transcripts stay for 7 days so you can regenerate notes, then they are deleted for good.
Which operating systems are supported?
macOS and Windows. Mobile and Linux apps are on the roadmap.
Do I need consent from other people on the call?
Rules differ by country and state. Even without a recording, we recommend telling people you use an AI notetaker.
Which calendars can I connect?

How do you keep my data safe?
